As of 1 May 2015, founder Max Schmidhuber handed over the company’s operative management to his son. PS Automation GmbH specialises in electric and electronic actuators and has been successful in the market for more than 25 years. Christian Schmidhuber has been closely connected with the company since his youth. To prepare for the Management Board, he was appointed product development manager in January 2013 and later became technical director. In December 2007 he graduated from Technical University Karlsruhe with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and then gained his first working experience at Westinghouse Electric Germany GmbH at home and abroad. Thanks to Christian Schmidhuber’s extraordinary creativity, motivation and energy, three new products have been developed at PS Automation under his leadership within a short period of time.
Max Schmidhuber will stay on also as managing director and support the company with his valuable experience.
