In his last position, he was head of the Manufacturing IT in the Engineering & Technology division at Bayer AG. He has made significant contributions to the development of the automation and digitisation strategy and its implementation for production both at Bayer AG and as a member of representative boards and advocacy groups (NAMUR, VCI, Hans Böckler Foundation).
