TIGRON by AUMA

The oil & gas industry is active in all climate zones, even where environmental conditions are particularly difficult. The operating temperature range of the TIGRON electric actuator extends from -65 °C to +75 °C, and AUMA sets standards in the field of corrosion protection that are more than sufficient even for demanding offshore applications. Robustness as a prerequisite for many years of safe operation was the top priority of all development goals, closely followed by ease of operation and service.

Sealing system MIL ISO 15848 by KSB

The KSB MIL packing system is designed to meet the stringent requirements of ISO 15848 and achieve tightness class “AH” (tested with helium). The packing is made of expanded graphite or PTFE materials with variable density and a tightly braided construction to optimize the sealing performance of the stuffing box. Extrusion properties are controlled by specially designed support hardware, including anti-extrusion rings, lower stem guides and a geometrically optimized packing bore.

Category Automation

ATB 3/50 by Metrus

The fully automated valve test bench is part of one of many individual automation concepts that Metrus will develop with customers in the future. The model impressively demonstrates the entire workflow from loading and unloading the valves to the test sequence. The robot assembles and disassembles the valve-dependent adapters completely independently, holds the test specimen during the clamping process, closes and opens the valve seat via the handwheel and takes over the previously time-consuming emptying of the test specimen.
