China is focusing more than ever on environmental and climate protection. IE expo China 2019, which took place from April 15 to 17 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), showed this all too clearly. During the three days of the event, 73,097 trade visitors from 58 countries and regions caught up on the trends and technological innovations in the Asian environmental technology sector. This dynamism in the Chinese environmental market has motivated us to further expand our IFAT network in China. The debut of IE expo Chengdu 2019, the leading environmental show in Western China, presented the solutions for water, waste, air and soil at the Western China International Expo City: around 300 companies are taking part, almost three times as many as expected!
Right after the IE expo Chengdu 2019, IE expo Guangzhou 2019 is coming back for its 5th edition on September 18-20, 2019 at China Import and Export Fair Complex (Canton Fair Complex) in Guangzhou. Yuezhou Ou, President of the Guangdong Association of Environmental Protection Industrysays: “Currently, with the severer environmental supervision, environmental technology has gradually highlighted its importance to solve environmental issues. The solutions to prevent and control pollution that were showcased during IE expo Guangzhou will help the South China environmental protection industry move forward.” The big success of edition 2018 give this quote a good proof. IE expo Guangzhou 2018 attracted 505 companies from 15 countries—and thus almost 20 percent more than last year. Also attendance-wise the trade show has grown: 26,493 trade visitors mean a plus of 7 percent.
Improving by scale and quality in 2019
Over 600 enterprises and 32,000 trade visitors are expected to gather in the 40,000㎡ exhibition area, where a full-chain of exhibitors will display more diversified innovative technologies and sustainable environmental solutions in water, waste, soil and air. Meanwhile, over 20 high-level supporting programs will be held concurrently during IE expo Guangzhou 2019. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and exchange innovative ideas. Scientists, utilities, end-users, energy consultants, government agencies, NGOs and Environmental Advisors, a remarkable feast will be created for the environmental circle.
Opening new exhibit area grasping hot issue—Garbage  Classification
President Xi Jinping recently underlined efforts to cultivate the good habit of garbage sorting to improve the living environment and contribute to green and sustainable development. According to a government’s plan, all major cities in China are expected to initiate garbage classification this year, and the system should be completed and functioning by the end of 2025. (Source from China Daily) It’s obvious that garbage sorting has become a hot topic in China, so what are the serious garbage-related problems China faces and how can they be solved?
The 5th edition IE expo Guangzhou 2019 will bring the Urban Garbage Sorting Technology Processing Exhibition to you and show you the cutting-edge waste sorting solutions in China. The show specially focused on garbage collection and transportation, garbage disposal and recycling sectors. Also, there will be an impressive array of great minds you could meet at the Urban Waste Comprehensive Classification and Processing Exchange Conference which will be co-located during the show.
A strong trio for environmental trade show in China
Together with the leading Asian trade fair IE expo China, the western Chinese edition IE expo Chengdu, and the southern Chinese edition IE expo Guangzhou, we now offer you a strong environmental trade fair trio in China.“With these three solution platforms, we want to actively drive environmental and climate protection in China and, together with our exhibitors and partner associations, promote the use of technology and the transfer of knowledge.” said Christian Rocke, Exhibition Group Director of the worldwide IFAT network at Messe München.
