After the great success of the past editions, Industrial Valve Summit is back to enhance the value of “Made in Italy” and to show and share competences and knowledge. The international exhibition has established itself as an instrument for promoting the excellence of the national industrial production as well as an important reference point for the local economic system in Lombardy, thanks to the growing number of participants. IVS 2019 aims to increase its numbers with more visitors, exhibitors, events, conferences and networking opportunities. The past editions registered 3,500 presences (2015) and 8,000 presences (2017). At IVS 2019 we expect to welcome more than 250 exhibitors with 10,000 sqm exhibition area and 10,000 visitors from over 60 countries around the world. At the press conference the main novelties of Industrial Valve Summit were illustrated by Luigi Trigona, Managing Director of Ente Fiera Promoberg, and Giovanna Ricuperati, Vice President of Confindustria Bergamo.
Leading sector players will join the debate: Enrico Berbieri (ICE – Director for North-Central Italy ), Giuseppe Schirone (Prometeia), Luca Pandolfi (Project Manager IVS), Marco Ghilardi (Scientific Committee IVS/ValveCampus), Filippo Codara (Vice President Assafrica) and Carlo Banfi (Vice- President ANIMA Confindustria Meccanica Varia). The Managing Director of Ente Fiera Promoberg, Luigi Trigona, declared:“Thanks to Industrial Valve Summit, Bergamo becomes for two days the world capital of industrial valves, one of the most innovative and significant industrial sectors in our country.
