VALVE WORLD EXPO 2024 starts today in Düsseldorf, where experts from all over the world will be meeting until December 5 to discover the latest technologies in the industry. More than 500 exhibitors from around 40 countries are taking part and presenting the latest products and innovations on an area of over 14,000 square meters.
Rarely before have the industry players in valves, pumps and compressors faced so many challenges. This is because the shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources must be much faster if the energy transition is to succeed. Nevertheless, it is still not possible to do without oil and gas. Politicians and environmental associations, as well as international agreements, are constantly demanding new measures from the industry to make the energy transition a success.
Reason enough for the exhibitors at VALVE WORLD EXPO to go full throttle from December 3 to 5, 2024 in Düsseldorf and show that the industry has plenty of steam under the boiler. In addition to presenting innovative solutions in the field of industrial valves, our exhibitors will be showcasing themselves as attractive, modern and agile employers in a demanding industrial environment.
Exciting presentations at the Valve World Expo Forum
The fact that manufacturers of machines, systems and products also have to constantly reinvent themselves in order to respond to rapid market challenges is currently demonstrated by 565 exhibitors from 36 countries on 15,680 square meters in exhibition halls 1 and 3. In addition, two conferences, the Valve World Conference in hall 1, which is subject to a fee, and the free Valve World Expo Forum on the stage in hall 3, ensure a balanced mix of theory and practice.
The international, English-language Valve World Conference with delegates from all over the world will offer solutions for many industry challenges in around 65 specialist presentations, live panels and special units for young professionals. The topics of energy transformation, digitalization, standardization and automation are at the top of the conference agenda.
This will be complemented by the Valve World Expo Forum with compact presentations and discussions on the first two days of the trade fair. Here, Vulkan-Verlag is organizing an exciting German-language programme that will be simultaneously translated into English. From midday on the second day of the fair, there will be additional short presentations and information slots in English. Everything will be somewhat shorter and more condensed than at the Valve World Conference in Hall 1.

Sustainability and young talent are key
Digital ecoMetals trails to particularly sustainable and energy-efficient exhibitors such as Ayvaz, Emerson, KSB, OMC, Waldemar Pruss Armaturenfabrik GmbH, Siemens AG and VENTIL Test Equipment B.V. give interested visitors an insight into their production processes. Visitors can decide for themselves when to walk around the exhibition stands, which are marked by a circular route.
Our exhibitors also know that a lack of skilled workers can often be the beginning of the end for a company. To counteract this and attract the attention of young talent, some of them are presenting themselves as attractive employers and trainers in the High Potential Initiative with job trails. Among them are AVA Armaturen Vertrieb Alms GmbH, AUMA Riester GmbH & Co. KG, HEROSE GmbH Armaturen und Metalle, Mankenberg GmbH, VENTIL Test Equipment B.V., FIRST and Rotork PLC.
