It is important for plant operators to keep their plant in operation without interruption in order to achieve the highest possible productivity.

For this purpose, the manufacturer W-Filter provides various filter products that are characterized above all by their low flow resistance.

Strainers and filters are supplied in nominal sizes from DN50/2″ to DN1000/40″ (DIN PN10-PN100, ANSI Class 150-300). In addition to special designs, the portfolio also includes the design of filter constructions for horizontal and vertical pipelines.

If the W filter, which is rarely cleaned anyway, is to be further optimized and the efficiency of a plant increased even more, the filter type W-DF is available as a double filter in switchable dual-line operation. Thanks to their extremely low flow resistance and user-friendly maintenance, Type W filters are used in a wide variety of applications. In order to use these advantages for the permanent plant process, two filters of this type are connected in parallel. From DN50 to DN150, three-way ball valves are used for this type of application – above this, up to the usual large nominal diameters of DN1000 by means of pipe branches. Strainer inserts from 40µ to 10mm are possible. In compact design DN25 to DN50 with mesh sizes from 10µ to 100µ can also be supplied. W-FILTER products have been in use for four decades in a wide variety of applications in the water and wastewater industry as well as in district heating networks, mainly for the protection of pumps and plant components.
