Designed to meet the requirements for automating large-scale gate valves, the new gearboxes enable AUMA to enhance support for applications in crude oil coking or steel constructions for water systems, for example. Equipped with the appropriate output drive, AUMA’s GHT gearboxes can withstand significant axial forces and bear the load of heavy gate valve plates.
The gearboxes are available in four sizes: GHT 320.3 (32,000 Nm), GHT 500.3 (50,000 Nm), GHT 800.3 (80,000 Nm) and GHT 1200.3 (120,000 Nm). IP68 enclosure protection is offered and the devices are ideally suited for ambient conditions between –40 °C and +120 °C.
