Two new valves for gas applications from the GEMÜ Group have received DVGW approval.
The provider of valve, measurement, and control systems has added two new valves to its product rage. The GEMÜ R480 Victoria buttefly valves as well as the GEMÜ B20 ball valve are suitable for use with various gases. This includes natural gas and biogas, propane, as well as butane-containing liquefied gases.
They are approved for gas generation, gas treatment, as well as gas injection. The use for fuel gases of the second and third gas family in gas burners and gas appliances is included in this. Likewise is the use of hydrogen. The approval certifies that the valves function reliably and precisely in different gas environments.
New to the supply catalogue
As of now, the butterfly valves can be ordered with the „G“ marking for gas as a special function. They are available in nominal sizes DN 25 to DN 600. The GEMÜ B20 ball valve is obtainable in nominal sizes DN 8 to DN 65 and is also suitable for use with combustible gases. A yellow hand lever is available for the purpose of better visual identification. Both swivel valves have been subjected to a type test in accordance with DIN EN 13774 unterzogen.
The GEMÜ R480 Victoria butterfly valve is certified and listed under registration number DG-313CQ0540, the GEMÜ B20 ball valve under registration number 22-00143-AB01-130.
