Torben Christensen brings thirty years of professional experience to the role
As CFO, Christensen is responsible for implementing the financial strategy and ensuring solid performance in the face of strong growth and challenging market conditions.
“I have had the pleasure of working with many talented Power Solutions executives over the years. It’s a great opportunity to now stand alongside them as a direct colleague,” said Christensen. “Although this role represents a change for me, I am not stepping in as a newcomer. I’m looking forward to immersing myself in the business, getting to know our great customers and partners, and discovering opportunities to improve our financial position.”
‘During his many years at Global Services, Torben has served Power Solutions in various roles, gaining extensive knowledge of our factories and key processes,’ adds Daniel Winter, President, Danfoss Power Solutions. “He has been instrumental in many high-profile projects and has built an extensive network of colleagues across the organisation. I am delighted to welcome Torben to Power Solutions and the PSLT. His extensive experience and proven leadership skills will be invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate our business.”
Christensen brings nearly 30 years of experience at Danfoss to his new position. He started his career in Corporate Treasury and spent 27 years in Global Services, the company’s shared services organisation, where he led functional areas such as logistics, real estate, finance and accounting and indirect procurement.
He has headed the Global Services organisation since 2017. In 2023, he was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer in addition to his role as Head of Global Services.
